the story

 

Alice Montgomery, the loneliest woman in the world, puts up an ad for a roommate and ends up finding Lola, the best friend she’s been dreaming of. They’re inseparable—until Alice finds out that her new roommate is a vigilante serial killer. Suddenly, Alice is forced to choose between becoming an accomplice to murder(s) or turning in (and losing) her one true friend. 

BFF is a dark comedy that explores friendship, morality, and various methods of dismemberment.

ZOE NELMS  While  BFF  is her first solo effort, 17 year-old Zoe was the co-writer of  Heckboy, The Musical  which was produced at the Writopia Worldwide Plays Festival when she was 15.  She has also been published in several printed and online literary magazines including Magnolia & Vine: Journal of Playwrights, The Fiction Pool, Typishly, Fredericksburg Literary and Art Review, and Hypernova Lit.

JOE NELMS  Joe is the former Artistic Director and Executive Producer of sketch comedy live show/NBC series  Live On Tape . He is also the co-writer/producer of the films  Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday The 13th  and  The Lost Episode .

MEGAN MAGEE  Megan has been directing theatre in Manhattan for four years, with previous credits including a revival of Michelle Lowe’s  String of Pearls  (Arthur Seelen Theatre, Theatre 68),  Diamond Dogs  (Hudson Guild, Summerfest 2016), and  Uncut , a one-act play recently reimagined as a short film entitled  Thick Crust 7  where Megan was AD to director Ronnie Marmo.
